The Ever Ready Club was organized in June 1973 during the pastorate of Rev. Dr. L.A. Miller. It was reorganized in February 2008 by Rev. Dr. G. Ray Coleman.
Club Ministry: To share spirituality, inspiration, and community outreach while providing wholesome recreational activities for an enriched life for everyone. Projects: Birthday Social Talent Show, Dress for Success Organization, St. Mark Movie Night, Church Growth Initiative (working with the late Rev. Dexter Bledsoe), Members Retreat for Spiritual Development. Support of the Human Dignity Ministry, Back to School Event, Sick/Shut-In Visitation & Cards w/ Love Offerings, Support for Publication of the Quasquicentennial History Book, Visiting Mission Churches for Worship, Christmas Caroling, Angel Tree Ministry and the Altar Pillow Project
